The City of Sugar Hill opened the Community Center on August 2, 2004. The Community Center, located at 1166 Church Street, is a grand 4,600 square foot multi-use facility which is also home to the Parks and Recreation Department. Many passive and active classes and activities occur at the Community Center. These recreational activities include:
Karate, Little Inventors, Techno World, Tap and Ballet Classes, Belly Dancing Classes , Cardio Classes, Line Dancing, One Stroke Painting,Watercolor Classes and many more.
Community Center Rental Information:
The City of Sugar Hill Community Center is also a rental facility which is equipped with a state of the art catering kitchen, handicapped accessible restrooms and showers. Many occasions occur annually including:
Weddings, Birthday and Anniversary Parties, Business Meetings, Home Owners Association Meetings, Holiday Parties and much more.
This facility is available for rent only by Sugar Hill residents on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The center includes a 4,600 square foot open area, a full catering kitchen and
bathrooms complete with a shower. There are hundred and four (104) chairs, six (6) five foot wide round tables, and twelve (12) six foot wide rectangle tables for your use during the rental. Note: We do not provide table linens and place settings. The Community Center is not rented by the hour.
1 (one) Room Rental: $150 (Seniors 55 years or older $75)
2 (two) Room Rental: $250 (Seniors 55 years or older $125)
Kitchen Rental: $50
Rental Deposit: $200 (Refundable)
