New City Limit Monuments & Street Signs:

“Welcome to Sugar Hill” monument signs have been installed on Peachtree Industrial Blvd at the north and south boundaries of the City.  We are coordinating with Georgia DOT to receive authority to place a monument sign on Highway 20 at the intersection with Atwater Court.

New City Limit signs will be installed throughout the City. You can see the new signs on the City’s website home page (above).

Mulch, Wood Chips, and Yard Waste...

The City of Sugar Hill picks up yard waste.

Yard Clippings - Place all bagged yard clippings at the curb on Monday Mornings for Monday or Tuesday pickup. The Sugar Hill preprinted bags are not required.

Limbs and Brush - Place all limbs and brush at the curb on Wednesday mornings for Wednesday or Thursday pickup.

Need Mulch? Click here to read more about our mulching service, or call our Street Department at (770) 271-2137, for more information.

Sugar Hill is a Safer Place to Work and Live

In an effort to make Sugar Hill a safer city, all full time city employees have received training and certification for Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) operation.

The CPR training taught city employees how to recognize and care for breathing, choking and cardiac emergencies in adults. The main objective was to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.

AED machines are used to enhance our life saving skills in cardiac emergency situations. The AED machines will be placed at City Hall, the Sugar Hill Golf Course, Community Center on Church Street, and the Maintenance Facility on Hillcrest Drive.
