Gary Pirkle Park opened March 13th, 2010.

Gary Pirkle Park is located at 6195 Austin Garner Road. Park hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 11:00 pm.

Park Amenities Include:

67 Acres with Richland Creek running through, 5 Multi-purpose Fields - 3 Synthetic Turf Fields (255,000 sq.ft. largest in the Southeast), 2 Natural Grass Fields, Giant Playground under a 90' Solar Powered Shelter Pavilion, Restrooms & Concession Facility, (2) 60' x 40' Picnic Pavilions, 1.7 Miles of Paved, Lighted Walking Trails & Benches, Viewing Grandstands, Community Garden & Activity Barn.
